Milwaukee, WI - The Harley-Davidson motorcyclist training program known under the name of Rider’s Edge, has passed the mark of training 300,000 riders since it was created in 2000. It is offered by dealers in 43 states and is based on the Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course.
Benefits? 1/3 rd of participants are women. Upon completion, students receive certification which may help them get a motorcycle license in most states as well as insurance discounts. Harley-Davidson also offers a Skilled Rider Course to practice on specific skills for hazardous conditions encountered on the road.
